The Congregation of the Blessed Sacrament considers you part of our Eucharistic family and is very happy to send this Spring 2016 issue of our newsletter to you!
This issue is again packed with reading that will nourish your Eucharistic spirituality and fill you in on the activities of the Congregation of the Blessed Sacrament. Our opening article is about one of our former parishes in New York City, Saint Andrew’s. We look back and thank God for the many blessings that have come to us. In the article some of our religious share their thoughts of this former parish and religious community.
We share the good news of two Blessed Sacrament Fathers and authors, Father John Thomas Lane and Father Paul Bernier. You can learn about their most recent books in this issue. Nancy MacRoberts, one of our Houston Associates, writes about an event in memory of Brother Anthony Ornelas SSS that brought members of their parish together. We introduce to you Father Roger Bourgeois SSS who has taken on the responsibilities as chaplain for our Saint Ann Shrine in Cleveland, Ohio.
Father Ernest Falardeau SSS in his regular contribution focuses on Ecumenical Spirituality and Eucharistic Spirituality a timely article since we are a Congregation dedicated to the Eucharist. We hope that you find the time to read this entire issue and learn more about the Congregation of the Blessed Sacrament and its ministry and mission – in this way, you can walk with us in the footsteps of our Founder, Saint Peter Julian Eymard.
