Mother’s & Father’s Day Appeal 2025

Dear Friends of Saint Ann Shrine,

I would imagine we all have been influenced by our parents in one way, shape, or form. Our mothers and fathers have been a support system to us for our entire lives. They are the foundations upon which our families have been built. Maybe you also learned how to raise children due to their examples, discipline, sacrifices, and unconditional love they showed for us! Let us take this time to celebrate and honor them, especially this time of year!!!

Let us express our gratitude for the wonderful example our parents, or maybe grandparents, gave to us as we experience our life’s journey. Whether we thank them in person, in thought, or in prayer, let’s remember to express our gratitude to our parents who supported and guided us through the trials of life. Join us in wishing them a Happy Mother’s and Father’s Day!!!

Let us also rejoice in the wonderful influence and example that our Holy Family, Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, has given us as well! They all articulated unconditional love, made great sacrifices, and were great role models for us as children, parents, and grandparents!! Let us keep them in our prayers and thank them for leading us down the correct path in the holy and faith filled way they lived their lives. We also pray in gratitude to Good Saint Ann and Saint Joachim for their great leadership and support in the numerous ways they have been such great role models to all of us alike: men and women!

Let us know of the special mother, father, grandparent, etc. that made an impact on your life by including their name on the enclosed reply slip. The Blessed Sacrament Community will keep them in prayer! Your generous support of our mission work will attest as gratitude for those people who molded and shaped your faith and were incredible examples of how to live spiritual and vibrant lives!!!

We hope you and your loved ones are healthy and safe. We care about you and pray for you daily. Please let us know of anything special you’d like us to keep in prayer. God Bless You!!

Yours in Good Saint Ann,

Fr. Roger Bourgeois, SSS

Chaplain

*The Congregation of the Blessed Sacrament is happy to share that in the Oratory of the Blessed Sacrament (the special chapel of the Blessed Sacrament Seminary – now Saint Ann Shrine too), Cleveland Bishop Edward Malesic elevated our status to that of a diocesan shrine! During this Jubilee Year for the church, Saint Ann Shrine will also host the following after Mass:

Tuesdays: Veneration of & Blessing with the Relic of Saint Ann followed by Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament until 2:00pm

Wednesdays: Novena with Saint Joseph

Thursdays: Divine Mercy & Rosary recitation

Fridays: Stations of the Cross

During Shrine hours of 8am-4pm, please come and add a prayer to our sacred cross and with the Relic of Saint Ann, light a candle or spend some quiet time renewing your faith and living as a “pilgrim of hope” during this Jubilee Year 2025!

* Join us for the Triduum as we celebrate Saint Ann’s Feast Day: July 24 (Mass at 6:30pm), 25 (Mass at 6:30pm), & 26 (Mass at 4:30pm) in Cleveland. A nine-day Novena is celebrated at Saint Jean Baptiste Church in New York City from July 17th through July 26th with Mass at Noon each day.

*We are able to distribute the Blessed Oil we have in stock, while supplies last, for a donation. Contact Saint Ann Shrine at 440-449-2700. We still have Holy Water available for a donation as well.

*We invite you and your group to join us at Saint Ann Shrine for Daily Mass at 11:30AM, Monday-Friday (except on Holy Days or Holidays).

*The Congregation of the Blessed Sacrament offers a daily reflection. If you’d like to receive this uplifting message, send an email to cee@blessedsacrament.com.

*You can honor your relatives, friends, or a Blessed Sacrament Community member by having a Mass celebrated in their honor during Mass at Saint Ann Shrine. Call 440-449-2700 for details.
